After a short break for Christmas and New Year’s holidays, we’d like to share a brief outlook of SWExperts for the year 2014.

In the past year, we had the pleasure of realizing numerous must-win opportunities as well as some other cases that did not end up with winning contracts but a lot of lessons learned. These’ve all helped us tailor our strategy for the year 2014.

Having successfully delivered some small-scale contracts, in 2014 we will be discontinuing to pursue opportunities in field of IT support and network maintenance. Our activities under the existing contracts in the field of quality assurance and testing as a stand-alone service will continue with end-of-support being marked as the end of 2014.

The vision on provisioning of turn-key software development solutions, which already had the highest priority, will be even further strengthen with more emphasis on Cloud based solutions and SaaS. Both with the momentum of the ongoing projects and the ones in the pipeline, the vertical markets of human resources, tourism and e-commerce will be the main focus areas for 2014.

User Experience (UX) management and consulting, a service line that has been provided embedded in other business lines, will be provided as a stand-alone service in 2014 by SWExperts based on the high market demand and increasing awareness on its importance.

Last but not least, and by the same token with the case of UX, remote project management services, which formerly were embedded in the custom software solutions development and managing of dedicated teams, will be provided on stand-alone basis as well.
