Other than technical decision factors, which we tried to cover in our previous post, the major driving factor to prefer working with a freelancer over an outsourcing company is the additional cost saving that is believed to be achievable by cutting out the margin of the outsourcing company on top of the pure daily rate of the freelancer. Nevertheless, this cost saving opportunity, like any other one, brings together certain risks.
